Sergio Sedas

Dr. Sedas-Gersey is a Keynote Speaker and author of the Amazon #1 International Best Seller - Intentional Possibility. For over 30 years he has helped leaders to innovate and increase productivity not only through Robotics and Technology, but through leadership programs that increase motivation, commitment, collaboration, and creativity in the people.

As a speaker, he is well known for his unique skill to motivate the audience to challenge their beliefs, innovate, intentionally create new possibilities, and adopt new behaviors and ideas that develop trust and encourage leadership and strong personal bonding in their teams. He has been an invited keynote speaker in TEDx inChennai India, Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 automotive companies, and multiple academic institutions in Ecuador, Guatemala, Greece, United States and México. More than 100,000 people have participated in his conferences, workshops and leadership and transformation programs.

Background Dr. Sedas-Gersey is a member of the small team at Carnegie Mellon University that developed DANTE, the first robot in history to enter a live volcano in the South Pole. Funded by NASA, the US Air Force, National Science Foundation and CONACYT, he graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with two masters and a PhD in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Computational Design. He incorporated multiple hi-tech companies that helped companies increase productivity, quality, and efficiency with robots and other hi-end technology. His list of customers includes Visteón, NEMAK, Chrysler, Ford NewHolland, Cima Masland, Lear Seating, Johnson Controls, Hayes Lemmerz, Metalsa, and Fortune 100 y Fortune 500 automotive companies.

He is a professor at the EGADE Business School and former Director of Strategic Programs and Director of the Mechatronics Academic Program at the Tecnológico de Monterrey.

He is the author of social initiatives that develop a strong sense of purpose, resiliency and leadership skills in young adults.
