About this speaker
As a facilitator and trainer, Laura brings to her clients a broad understanding of both the rewards and challenges of the corporate, non-profit sectors and the entrepreneurial life. She has been executive director of a national association and worked in partnership development with an international association.
Laura is an Associate with Authentic Leadership Global, Inc., training coaches and facilitators worldwide and has facilitated Authentic Leadership Conversations in several sectors, most recently within the federal government.
Laura recently earned an Executive MBA at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University (SFU). She participated in the Americas program, studying in Brazil, Mexico and the USA in 2016 and 2017. Prior to that she earned a Bachelor of General Studies in SFU's Liberal Business Studies Program, graduating with distinction.
Laura is co-chair of the Board of the North Shore Restorative Justice Society and a facilitator of restorative justice files.
Parenting her son Max, has been a remarkable, inspiring, challenging, transformative and often surprising part of Laura's life. She has shared the parenting journey by facilitating many parent workshops and dialogues and served for two years on the Board of the Gifted Children’s Association of British Columbia.
