Wouter holds a Master degree in law (Antwerp/Dundee, 1994), a postgraduate degree in social-economic law (Ghent, 1995) and a certificate in Compensation & Benefits Management (Vlerick Management School, 2005). Wouter currently occupies the position of acting EMA Head of People for KPMG Europe, Middle East & Africa. Between 2012 and 2018, Wouter was HR Director for KPMG Belgium and overall responsible for the strategic people agenda within KPMG, including Sourcing & Selection, Learning, Performance Development, Inclusion & Diversity and Reward Management. Prior to his role as HR Director, Wouter was Compensation & Benefits Manager for KPMG: apart from the development and implementation of reward policies and procedures within KPMG, he was also responsible for projects dealing with the integration of personnel and salary administration and the design of a new organization model for KPMG in Belgium. Back in 1995, Wouter started his career with PwC as a practicing attorney-at-law in personnel related matters, including Mergers & Acquisitions. Wouter is married with three children of 19, 18 and 12. He is passionate about his family and sports.
